ABOUT US
About Us
Yarina Threads is a family-run artisan brand that weaves together heritage, design, and sustainability. Rooted in a multigenerational lineage of Indigenous musicians and artisans from Ecuador. Now based in the Boston area, we continue a legacy dedicated to preserving and sharing Indigenous culture through art, music, and craftsmanship.
Our work honors ancestral traditions while embracing contemporary design, offering pieces that carry stories: stories that connect people with the land, with their roots, and with each other. Through close collaboration with Indigenous families and artisan collectives across Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, and Mexico, we ensure that every creation reflects both cultural authenticity and modern artistry.
At Yarina Threads, we believe that craft is more than an object—it is heritage, identity, and purpose woven into every thread.
Mission
To preserve and share the richness of Indigenous culture through handcrafted creations made with ancestral techniques, sustainable materials, and contemporary design. We work directly with artisan families across Latin America to ensure fair trade, strengthen communities, and offer authentic pieces that connect people to the land, to tradition, and to the art behind every craft.
Vision
To become an international reference in sustainable fashion and artisan craftsmanship, recognized for our commitment to cultural preservation, the empowerment of Indigenous communities, and the creation of products that blend history, design, and environmental responsibility. We aspire to inspire future generations to value, respect, and celebrate the world’s artisanal heritage.
